Notes live on the device they were written on. Kura Notes has no cloud: signing in on another device won't show them. Use Back up / Restore or Export to move them.
Choose who is writing. Their PIN confirms it.
Kura Notes is a private note-taking tool for independent caregivers. It is not a system of record and not a replacement for any documentation your state, program, or employer requires.
Notes are written from what you enter. Reading, checking, and signing each one is your responsibility. If you work for an agency, following its rules on outside tools is up to you.
Everything you write stays on this device.

Things you'll use now and then.
A file label only. The note says “the individual”.
Your name and role go on every note you sign. Switching users needs that person's PIN.
This is carried forward from the individual's profile. Change it here only if today is different.
Tap Edit on any line to change it.
Tap an item to fix it. The note rewrites itself when you come back.
Unfinished days, saved automatically as you go. Pick one up where you left it.
After about 20 saved days, Kura Notes fills your standard days in for you.
Built from what you record most often.
Every action in the app is recorded with who did it and when. The ledger is append-only: no screen or button can edit or delete an entry, so any gap or change is visible. It lives on this device with your notes, travels with backups, and keeps the most recent 2,000 entries.
Tap the months to include. Nothing selected means the current month to date. Saved summaries are used as they were saved; months without one are built fresh from the signed notes.
Nothing here is required. Kura Notes works from day one; add things below as they come up and the notes get more specific.
Set once per person so their notes match how their day runs. Leave the defaults if they don't apply.
Turn off anything this person never does. Those questions won't appear when you write their notes.
Saved once, then used for medication training.
Write each goal once, the way it appears in the ISP.
Physicals, flu shots, TB tests, consents. Enter the last date and Kura Notes counts forward.
Everything is stored on this device, encrypted with your PIN.
Checking…
Opens your billing page. Cancelling there takes one click and ends at the end of the paid period. Nothing you've written is ever deleted — it's on this device and stays here.
Not activated.
Dashes and spaces don't matter. One key covers a few devices; this counts as one. Only the key, a random device ID and a label like "iPhone" are sent — never anything about the people you support.
Checking storage…
This is the only copy of your records. Back it up regularly to iCloud, Google Drive or a computer. The backup file is encrypted with your PIN — it's useless to anyone who doesn't have it.
When you reword a paragraph before signing, Kura Notes remembers it for that person and writes it your way next time.
Seed the current individual with fake history to test performance, then wipe it. Never appears in production.
